Original acrylic painting on canvas, 42" x 42" x 1.5", 2025.

This floral portrait painting brings a woman’s steady gaze into a luminous setting of abstract blossoms and sweeping foliage. Mint green and turquoise flow through the composition, complemented by lavender, soft peach, creamy white, and yellow-green accents. Delicate lines define her eyes and lips, while broader, expressive strokes weave the surrounding flowers into her silhouette.

The face provides a quiet focal point within the abundant movement of leaves, petals, and curling stems. Recognizable features meet botanical abstraction, creating a balance between the woman’s composed expression and the lively forms around her.

Inspired by the exuberant spirit of a dear friend, the painting celebrates resilience, joy, and connection. Its generous square format gives the portrait and floral imagery room to unfold, offering a distinctive presence for collectors drawn to contemporary figurative and botanical art.
