Oia, Santorini

Original oil and acrylic painting on canvas, 36" x 48" x 1.5", 2025.

Donkeys make their way down Oia’s steep stone steps, accompanied by two figures and framed by the village’s brilliant white walls. To the left, tables wait beneath a shaded terrace; beyond the rooftops, the deep blue sea fills the horizon. Sunlight turns the architecture luminous while cool shadows gather along the stairway.

In Oia, Santorini, I wanted to capture the life of the village as well as its remarkable setting. The movement of the donkeys draws you into the scene, inviting you to follow the steps toward the water.

The painting is signed on the front and back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The canvas sides are painted in a neutral tone to complement the artwork.
