Lilies | Abstract Lily Painting

Original oil painting on canvas, 24" x 24" x 1.3", 2022.

This abstract lily painting brings pale blossoms into a richly layered composition of turquoise, mint green, lavender, deep blue, olive, and yellow. Curving white petals open across the surface, while slender stems and dark leaf-like shapes connect the flowers to surrounding blocks of color.

Recognizable floral forms mingle with abstraction, allowing petals, foliage, and background to flow into one another. Visible brushwork gives the surface texture, while the contrast between luminous blossoms and darker passages creates depth and movement.

Painted during challenging times, the work reflects creativity and resilience through its lively color and expressive handling of a familiar botanical subject.

The painting is signed on the front and back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The canvas sides are painted in a neutral tone to complement the artwork.
