Calm 2 – Abstract Water Lily Oil Painting

Original oil painting on canvas, 30" x 30" x 1.5".

This abstract water lily oil painting draws inspiration from the quiet beauty of a pond. Expressive brushwork interprets water lilies through abstraction, bringing a sense of movement and calm to the botanical subject.

The square composition invites a contemplative look at nature, allowing the viewer to discover their own associations within its organic forms. Painted in oil, the work explores the relationship between floral shapes and the atmosphere of water.

Available individually or together with its companion, Calm 1, in the paired offering Calmness. Display it on its own or alongside Calm 1 to bring the two compositions into conversation.
